Personal training

Personal Training can be one of the most effective ways to get quick results from your workouts, whether you are just starting a new program, training for a specific sport, moving to the next level, or just need some “extra motivation”. . The Trainers at Alpine Hills will work with you to meet your goals and get results!

  • Personal training is available Monday – Sunday, 5:30am - 9:00pm.
  • Non-members are permitted to train in the Fitness room with an Alpine Hills trainer only.

Fitness Classes at Alpine Hills are available to Members and Non-Members. 
Non-Members are welcome to participate in Fitness Classes at a higher rate.

Barre & Yoga Classes

Monday 6:00am & Thursday 6:00-7:00am

This is an hour long class that incorporates elements of pilates, yoga and resistance training. Class uses a variety of props including balls, weights, bands, blocks and the ballet barre. This is a high energy functional class that works your body from head to toe.

Barre Circuit

Saturday 9:00-10:00 am
Tighten, tone and firm your whole body with various body conditioning moves, ballet barre skills, and some heart pumping cardio exercises. Instructor: Melissa Redd   Cost: $20/NM$26

Candlelight Yoga

Monday 6:45 - 7:45pm  
Enhance your flexibility, balance and core strength with a rejuvenating combination of  poses synchronized to tunes. End your day boosting your immune system, balancing your nervous system and settling in.  Instructor:  Tamara Turner   Cost:  $15/NM$20

Yoga Flow

Saturday 10:00-11:00am 
Deep, long, yoga stretches delivered in a flow manner.  Build muscle, strength and coordination.  Improve circulation, balance and blood flow. Instructor: Melissa Redd   Cost: $15/NM $20

Yoga for Strength

Wednesday 5:30-6:30pm
This power session will generate heat from within. Be prepared to hold poses longer, breathe faster, and sweat more than your average yoga class as we focus on building core strength and stamina as well as getting a great cardiovascular workout. Not for the faint of heart, this all-levels series will have you feeling stronger each week as a fitness regimen.  Instructor:  Justin Anderson   Cost: $15/NM$20

Sculpt & Dance

Body Sculpt with Sheldon

Mon. & Fri. 7:15-8:15 am & Tues., Monday, Wednesday & Thurs.  8:30-9:30 am 
Back to basics sculpting class with light weights, body weight exercises and various floor work exercises.

Hip Hop Dance 
Tuesday 9:45-10:45 am

This adult hip hop style dance class is designed to help you loosen up, gain rhythm, and have fun while getting in your aerobic workout.  Gain some dance confidence and have fun at the same time.  All levels welcome!  Instructor:  Sangini Bedner Cost: $15/NM$20

Salsa Friday's 

Friday  5:30-6:30 pm
Come join in the hottest dance sensation in the Bay! This beginner-friendly, no-partner-necessary dance class will help you learn the rhythms, footwork, and figures you need to get out on the dance floor with confidence! This class will focus on Salsa techniques and figures suited for the Salsa clubs here in the Bay area. If you've been thinking about taking up dancing, this is the style and the class for you!  Instructor:  Justin Anderson  Cost: $15/NM$20

HIIT, Core, Strength & Balance

Alpine HIIT 45
Wednesday 9:15-10:00 am
  (class meets on the fitness deck weather permitting)
This is a high intensity interval training class using the TRX, kettle bells, battle rope, dumbbells, steps, med. balls, bands and various body weight exercises to keep you moving.  Class rotates between high energy aerobic movements to easy to follow weight training exercises.  This is a fast paced 45 minute class, so be ready to sweat ! All levels are welcome !

Strength & Balance
Strength & Balance: Friday 9:45-10:45 am 
This is a full-body class using dumbbells, bands and balls to improve your balance, core, upper and lower body. Instructor:  Hayley Leinfelder  Cost:  $20/NM$25

Junior Classes

Jr. Movement & Motor Skills (3’s/4’s)
Tuesday and Thursday:  3:55-4:25pm    

A variety of motor skill activities, for catching, kicking and throwing will be used in this fun based exercise class.    Instructor: Shelly Sweeney  Cost: Drop-in $18/NM$23 
Teen Training Certification (Alpine members only)
Thursday 4:00-5:30  (by appointment only) 

All juniors ages 11-13yrs old must go through the teen training certification class before they are allowed to use the gym with a parent, or use the gym during the "open gym" hours. Ultimate Senior

Tai Chi - The Ultimate Rehab
Thursday 11:30-12:30 

Tai chi involves a series of movements performed in a slow, focused manner and accompanied by deep breathing. Reduce your stress, improve your balance and flexibility.  Class is for all ages & abilities.   Instructor:  Robert Brown  Cost: $15/NM$20
