Comp Team

Eligible players who are ready to make a commitment to tennis may join our Comp Team. These players are typically between the ages of 8 and 13. A primary goal of Comp Team is to get players ready for (and playing in) USTA 10U/12U Orange-Green, and novice challenger/intermediate open level yellow ball tournaments. These players will be expected to attend practices and matches regularly. Comp Team is offered in the Fall, Winter and Spring.

USTA Junior Team Tennis

Junior Team Tennis is a program of the United States Tennis Association. Local clubs, like Alpine Hills, enter teams to play against other clubs in the Bay Area. It is a fun way to hone one's skills and grow in a team environment.  JTT is open to anyone who wants to play competitive tennis, but is best suited to players in our Bronze+, Silver and Gold clinics, as well as players on our Comp Team. It promotes values you would expect from any sport by fostering a spirit of cooperation, unity and individual self-growth. Also, it’s a learning environment for kids where they learn that succeeding is really more about how you play the game – win or lose. Alpine Hills typically registers teams in the 10U, 12U and 14U divisions. There are opportunities for older teams (15U, 18U) as well.
